Custom Scaffolding Banners
Scaffolding banners turn a building under renovation into a large, readable ad. They hang on the outside of the scaffold, cover the work behind them and show your project, your company or your tenant’s brand to everyone on the street. We print them on 10 oz mesh, so wind passes through instead of pulling on the scaffold.
Order custom scaffolding banners from Sketch Signs in any size. We print in full color and ship anywhere in the US.
Why mesh for scaffolding
- Less wind load. The 70/30 perforated mesh lets air through, which matters on tall scaffolds and windy streets.
- Covers the work. Hides dust, debris and unfinished facades while the job is in progress.
- Big format. Single-sided banners up to 10′ × 145′, so one banner can cover a full scaffold run.
- Built for months outside. UV-resistant inks keep colors bright for the length of a project.
Where Scaffolding Banners Work Best
Building renovations and facade work
Wrap the scaffold with a printed image of the finished building, or a simple “Open During Renovation” message so customers know the business inside is still open.
New developments and pre-leasing
Developers use scaffolding banners to pre-sell apartments, condos and office space: project name, renderings, a phone number and a website, visible for the whole build.
Contractor branding
Put your company name and logo on every site you work on. A clean, branded scaffold looks professional and brings in calls from neighbors and passing traffic.
Safety and wayfinding
Mark entrances, sidewalk detours and hard-hat areas in large print that people see before they reach the scaffold.
How to Choose Your Scaffolding Banner
Size
Measure the scaffold section you want to cover (width × height) and order to that size. Single-sided banners go up to 10′ × 145′ without pole pockets and up to 9.5′ × 145′ with pockets. Double-sided banners go up to 9.5′ × 145′.
Finishing
Hems and grommets are the standard choice: the banner is tied to the scaffold tubes with zip ties or bungee cords through the grommets. Ask for reinforced corners on large banners. Pole pockets are available for banners that hang on a pipe.
Design tips
Keep text short and large. A scaffold is read from across the street, so a headline, a logo and one phone number or website works better than a paragraph. Not sure how big to make the text? Our team offers free design help.

Scaffolding Banner FAQ
Run zip ties or bungee cords through the grommets and around the scaffold tubes. Pull the banner tight at the corners first, then along the edges, so it does not flap in the wind.
Yes. Single-sided banners can be up to 10′ × 145′. For very large facades, the banner can be made in several matching panels that hang side by side.
From the street the print reads as a solid image. Up close, the small holes let some light and air through, which is what reduces the wind load.
Most orders are printed in 2–4 business days after artwork approval, plus shipping time.
